By accessing this Website, registering, or attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or attend the Event.

Shenandoah Valley Baby Expo is a free, family-oriented public event designed for parents, caregivers, and families with infants and young children.

We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Event, in whole or in part, due to circumstances beyond our control.

Parental Supervision & Child Safety

Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or legal guardian.

By attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the supervision, safety, and behavior of their children

  • Shenandoah Valley Baby Expo does not provide childcare or supervision services

  • Certain Event activities, displays, or environments may present risks typical of public gatherings

Running, climbing, disruptive behavior, or unsafe use of vendor materials or equipment is not permitted.

We reserve the right to request that any attendee leave the Event if behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate for a family-friendly environment.

Event Registration

While attendance is free, advance registration may be requested for planning and communication purposes.

Registration:

  • Does not guarantee entry if venue capacity limits are reached

  • Must be completed with accurate and truthful information

  • Is subject to venue rules and safety requirements

Vendor Participation & Child-Appropriate Content

Vendors must be pre-approved and agree to maintain a family- and child-appropriate environment.

Vendors may not:

  • Display or distribute inappropriate, explicit, or unsafe materials

  • Offer products or samples that pose safety risks to children

  • Engage in aggressive sales tactics

We reserve the right to remove any vendor, product, display, or promotional activity deemed unsafe or inconsistent with the Event’s mission.

Photography, Video & Media Release

By attending the Event, you grant Shenandoah Valley Baby Expo permission to photograph, record, or capture your likeness and that of any minor children under your supervision for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes.

Such materials may be used on our Website, social media platforms, advertising, and other marketing channels without compensation.

If you do not wish for you or your child to be photographed or recorded, please notify Event staff upon arrival.

Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk

Attendance is voluntary. You assume all risks associated with attending a public family event, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury

  • Illness

  • Accidental contact with other attendees

  • Loss or damage of personal property

Shenandoah Valley Baby Expo is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or incidents involving children, strollers, carriers, or personal items.

Attendees must comply with all posted safety guidelines, venue policies, and instructions from Event staff.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shenandoah Valley Baby Expo shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

  • Use of the Website

  • Attendance at or participation in the Event

  • Acts or omissions of vendors, sponsors, or other attendees

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shenandoah Valley Baby Expo, its organizers, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your actions or those of any child under your supervision
